“Noisy”

  , Atlantic City
We recently selected the Knights Inn Boardwalk as it was described to be close to the boardwalk and casinos and was reasonably priced. The hotel itself had limited parking so we had to park behind the building along an ally the first night. The second night, all available spaces were gone (there were fewer spaces than number or rooms) and we had to pay to park at the nearest meter. Upon check-in, a prostitute approached our vehicle (in front of the hotel office, nonetheless) requesting money or a ride. She was notably on drugs and offered up her service to my husband. The bed was not the most comfortable and we found a hair in the sheets immediately upon turning down the bedding. Towels were small and limited and when I asked for more, the front-desk appeared surprised. There was also black things in the tub that appeared to be cigarette ashes or something from the cleaning staff or previous guest. There was a large gap around the door so we were able to hear any/all noise outside throughout the night. Their sign on the street advertises continental breakfast but there was none mentioned upon check-in and only a coffee pot was seen in the "lobby". Even if there was breakfast there would not have been anywhere to eat it as the lobby itself has no place to sit and the guest room did not have a table or chair. Just a bed and a dresser. Overall, the hotel provided a bed, bathroom, tv and a roof over our heads but that's about it. The money we saved by staying there was quickly absorbed in parking charges so we would've been better off staying at a more upscale place directly on the boardwalk or casino. I would not recommend this hotel.
